The tour begins at with a visit to Kalithea Thermes famed for its spring water. We continue the tour with a panoramic drive through Rhodes Town along Mandraki Harbour and up to the Ancient Stadium and Apollo Temple where you will learn about the Olympic Games and the famous family of Diagoras, with time to take photographs. After a short drive along the west coast, we arrive at the Valley of the Butterflies where you get to explore the valley where thousands of Butterflies fill the air. Afterwards we arrive at Apollona village where we will visit the small local shops for a tasting of the traditional spirit "Souma" and a visit to the museum (optional). Then, you’ll have some free time for lunch at a traditional Greek tavern, where you can try the amazing Greek "mezedes". We continue up the mountain for a short coffee break at Profitis Ilias a place famous for the 2 alpine hotels built in 1929 during the Italian occupation and a chance to see the abandoned villa built for Mussolini. We make a quick visit to Fountoukli Monastery one of the most famous monasteries in Rhodes. The tour ends at St Nektarious Monastery Parking.
